My studies in both scientific modalities and ancestral medicine guide me as I offer bodywork in my practice. I consider myself a student of life, constantly seeking more education that can help me better serve my community. My curiosity has led me through various trainings that range from postural assessments to lymphatic drainage to traditional folk medicine and beyond. I truly love the work that I get to do and hold myself to a high standard when caring for others. My only intention is to honor my clients healing journey and provide resources in any way that I can. This means the work goes beyond our sessions together. I am grateful to be resourced enough to offer my clients corrective exercises, referrals to other health care professionals, self care recommendations and a nurturing environment that you can feel comfortable in.
EDUCATION
East West College of the Healing Arts, Portland - Graduated and licensed in 2019
800 hour extensive program focusing on deep tissue, spa modalities and eastern modalities.
Native Roots School, New Mexico -
2020-2022
Intensive program taught by Mexican and Indigenous teachers based out of New Mexico. Dove into traditional bodywork, abdominal massage, plant medicine, some energy work and treating the body holistically.
East West College of the Healing Arts, Portland - 2020 to present
Various teachers and trainings. Classes focused on facial cupping, releasing adhesions around the neck and jaw. Acupressure points in the face, feet and hands. Postural Assessments tied together with Myofascial release techniques.
Independent Teaching from Folk Medicine Healers, New Mexico - 2021 to present
A multitude of courses touching on energy in the body, reproductive organ health, herbalism, hair energetics, Mayan abdominal massage and more.
